During this past week, we were treated to the many talents our students possess. We heard great speeches from junior and intermediate students on a wide range of interesting topics; we witnessed some creative and dynamic dance moves by our Grade 7 and 8 students and we heard from a number of students regarding key messages associated with Black Heritage month, Eco Schools and Pink Day! Our students are engaged and creative citizens making their voices heard and our teachers and support staff are supporting their many efforts. Bravo and thank you!
We wish to thank Trustee Kandavel and Ms. Trialonis, vice-principal at Danforth Gardens, who joined Ms. Robertson and Ms. Pennington as judges at our Speech Arts celebration.
