As an outstanding school year at Courcelette PS comes to a close, I would like to thank our dedicated and creative teachers, support staff and parent volunteers for providing terrific support and rich learning opportunities through curricular and extra-curricular activities. Courcelette PS has, without a doubt, an extensive variety of clubs, teams and parent led initiatives which are planned throughout the year providing many experiential opportunities for our students.
Some of our most memorable moments include: the Terry Fox run, the Grade 8 trip to Quebec City, the Kearney Outdoor Education Centre visit for Grade 6 students, numerous field trips, the great efforts of our sports teams and, of course, our production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. These, among many other events exemplify the rich life at Courcelette PS. I would also like to thank our Parent Council and the broader community whose dedication to our school is unwavering.
Finally, to our Grade Eight students, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all the very best as you venture out into secondary school. Regardless of the paths you choose to take, work hard, do your best, be kind to others and strive to be happy and successful.
All the best!
