Dear Parents/Guardians,

Remembrance Day

On Friday, we will be observing Remembrance Day. Many of our students will be contributing to our assembly. All students will be wearing a poppy at the assembly, provided by our local Legend. We ask that you kindly send a small monetary contribution for your child’s poppy which will be collected by the school and given to a representative of the Legion. We thank you in advance.

BBNC Share 365 Program – update

Thank you to all of the families who have already sent in laundry soap and diaper donations towards our annual BBNC donation drive.  We are off to a good start but still have a way to go, and the Pizza Party is still up for grabs!  Please have a look at the chart below to see how your child’s class is coming along with donations and check your child’s agenda for updates as well.

Please see the following update.

Lost and Found

There are many, many clothing items in our lost and found. During the teacher/parent interviews, next week, these clothing items will be on display in our gym. Please come by to see if any of these items belong to your child. Unclaimed clothing will be given to charity during the week of November 21st.

Dear Parents/Guardians,

On the evening of November 24th, Ms. Bowers is hosting a Parent Symposium on Mindfulness and Well-Being here at Courcelette. As a part of this evening, we will be hearing a presentation on Mindfulness and having our very own Student Mental Health Committee present and reflect on the work they are doing in our classes each week. Ms. Bowers will also be presenting The Zones of Regulation curriculum that we are currently implementing in classes. Parents are asked to please click on the link below to RSVP if you’re able to be in attendance. This invitation has also been extended to parents at Blantyre P.S.

Thank you in advance,

Ms. Bowers

QSP Magazine Sales

Thank you to everyone who has already participated in the QSP Magazine Fundraiser this year. The fundraiser runs until November 28th and all proceeds will be used to support literacy programs at Courcelette. In the past, we have used the funds to purchase reading materials, iPads and Smart Boards.

We are a long way from our goal of $10,000 in sales so please take some time to order your magazines today at The code for Courcelette is 3722923. Remember that approximately 30% of the total sales go directly to our school!

Additional QSP packages can be obtained through the office if for some reason you did not receive one.

Thank you for your support!

Carolyn Howard

QSP Coordinator
