SPEECH ARTS at Courcelette

This week, we heard a variety of wonderful speeches written by Grade 4-8 students who were selected to represent their class. Invited guests who acted as judges had quite a task in determining the placement of these talented students. We are proud of all our Grade 4-8 students who worked hard through the speech arts process. A special thank you goes out to Ms. Robertson, for her guidance and leadership! Well done everyone! 🙂

Ward Council Meeting

Last evening, Courcelette hosted a wonderful discussion sponsored by Trustee Parthi Kandeval. In attendance, were parent council Chairs from other schools in Scarborough as well as Superintendents of Schools Peter Chang and Kerry-Lynn Stadnyk. The discussion was centered around the use of technology in teaching and learning and as a medium for enhancing communication between home and school. A special thank you goes ouy to Mr. Hoang and Mr. Moore for their great presentation and input.

…and yes that is Stephen sporting the Brocos spirit wear 🙂
