I’d like to take this opportunity to say thank you to Mr. Knight for organizing this year’s Terry Fox run/walk. We raised $603.60 which has been donated to the Terry Fox Foundation.
It was a very busy week at school but the weather these past few days has made getting ready for Fall Fest, the large # of field trips (4 cats, The Young People’s Theatre, The Fox Theatre, Ripley’s Aquarium), and participating in Cross Country/Soccer that much more enjoyable. Our students have demonstrated an amazing willingness to learn about the world with curiosity and empathy – something their teachers cultivate each and every day here at Courcelette PS.
Congratulations to all of the athletes who ran in TDESSA’s Cross Country East Final. I wish I could have been there but Ms. Robertson and Mr. Knight let me know they were so proud of each and every one of you!
Additionally, the Junior Soccer Team continues to demonstrate a high level of skill and athleticism. They are playing in the finals this coming Monday. We wish you all the best – GO BRONCOS! Parents have helped with many practices and driving to the games, thanks so much from Mr. Moore and myself.
I had a great deal of fun watching our Caribou mathletes write their first contest this past week as well. Many students did very well due to their effort and perseverance – you are demonstrating a growth mind-set. Great job!
