Dear Parents/Guardians of Caribou Math Contest Participants,

Don’t forget we have our next competition dates on April 4th and 5th.

I received the following message today from Caribou Contests:

Our next contest will be taking place Wednesday April 4th, 2018 to Thursday April 5th, 2018. The next interactive question will be Floodfill which your students can practice now on our games page.

Because we got a few requests: On the practice page you can select the number of colors, whereas in the contest it is part of the problem to find out the number of colors that are needed. This is not a problem because in each step one should try to reuse colors that are already used. If at the end too many colors are used the program will tell and one can change colors or try again from scratch.

If you or your students have any problems with the game, please let us know.

There will be no history question in this contest

 Your Caribou Team

Thank you and if you have any questions or concerns please contact Ms. Gillan

AND

Tomorrow is Super Hero/Super Powers Day! A full costume is not necessary. A t-shirt,  socks, a hat, a homemade sign, etc. to show off your favourite super power or super hero is great. This is meant to be fun and a chance to show school spirit.
