Firstly I would like to wish everyone a peaceful weekend as we begin Passover and Easter. The school is closed tomorrow, Friday March 30th and Monday, April 2nd.
As March draws to a close, I’d like to thank the School Council for helping us celebrate March Mathness. Today there was a draw from all of the students who entered guesses about the famous Mathematician pictured in the puzzle poster. The winners of math board games were: Luke K., Nigel, and Jaya. Well done! Also, today we finally got to celebrate “Pi” day. Matt S., along with Ms. Clarke and with the help of his aunt’s secret recipe baked some beautiful pies. Thank you everyone for your enthusiasm and the celebration of math. The door decorating contest judging day has been extended to April 6th.
Thank you to everyone involved in today’s Sharing Assembly and Spirit Day. I loved wearing my custom skirt and blouse by Courcelette Couture! Congrats to all the award recipients and teams and clubs acknowledged. In addition to a great assembly, the celebration of super powers and positivity made the last day of school before the break one to remember. Safe and happy times for the long weekend. – Ms. Gillan
