Good morning everyone, it’s going to be a wonderful week to Graduate!!!
We received a few inquiries today, so just to clarify, all Grade 8s are to attend school this week, unless they have parent/guardian permission to be absent. Should students not be attending school, for whatever reasons, parents please notify the office. Ms. Hepner and I thank you so much for your help. This message was reiterated to students during our rehearsal last Friday.
We are looking forward to tomorrow’s celebration. Here are the details once again:
Celebrations Banquet Hall located at 174 Bartley Drive.
- Arrival 5 to 5:30 pm (students will begin getting lined up for their entry march at approximately 5:15 pm)
- Graduation Ceremony 5:30 to 6:30 pm (approximately)
- Students and Staff Dinner & Dance 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
If parents/guardians have questions regarding honours achievement and individual awards, I would direct your attention to the letter that went home May 11th, 2018 (see attached link – top of the blog).
We are incredibly proud of the achievements of all students, every student has achieved a personal best working to overcome challenges of many different kinds. For that reason ALL of our wonderful students will receive a Courcelette medal. Students whose grade point average meets the honours criteria will be engraved with the word honours.
Once again, please join us to celebrate all of our students’ achievements.
