Dear Courcelette Families,
Thank you for a great first year at Courcelette PS. The staff and I wish you a safe & relaxing summer.
Yearbooks were delivered today, there are still some available to purchase. You can purchase through school cash-on line (the same way you pay for trips) and pick up your copy tomorrow or next week. The Yearbooks are phenomenally beautiful and a keepsake. Thank you to Ms. Hachey for your leadership in getting the yearbooks put together and to Mr. Snare for the printing. A shoutout to all the parent reps who worked tirelessly to create such a lovely book.
If you have an EPI-PEN or medication stored in the office, please see Ms. Hepner to sign out these items. Please remember to update your EPI-PEN if needed over the summer break.
Your child will be coming home with their report card today and a letter from the school. The letter contains important information regarding the lunch program for next year and our classroom organization for September 2018. As well, you will see your child’s placement for September. Please note that we are potentially subject to reorganization by the School Board depending on registered numbers and any staffing changes that take place over the summer. Keeping this in mind, we will not be making changes to class assignments unless directed in September due to re-organization.
Change is always challenging, knowing that we can manage through it creates resiliency so we GREATLY appreciate your support as the school year ends, summer adventures start-up, and we look to a new school year. I, like you, look forward to spending some family time this summer and to warmly welcoming all of you back to Courcelette PS in September 2018.
Happy Beach Days!
See you then,
