Do you have any Halloween costumes that are too small for your child or not quite their style anymore? Bring that costume to school between Monday, October 21st and Thursday, October 24th and make another child’s day!
The Courcelette Eco-Club will be hosting a Halloween costume swap on Thursday, October 24th after school. Bring a costume for the swap and find one that your child can wear on October 31st. By participating in the swap, students will be helping recycle costumes that otherwise often end up in landfills.
The Eco-Club asks that families package up any costumes they’ll be donating to the swap in one piece, with the size and style of the costume (e.g., “bumble bee”) labeled on the bag. This will make it easier for swappers to sort through the costumes and find something that works for them.
Please send the costume to school with your child between October 21st and October 24th. There will be a box near the office for students to place the costumes in. The Eco-Club will set up the swap outside after school. Should it rain, an alternate location will be announced.
Any costumes that aren’t claimed at the swap will be donated.
