Additional Notes:

Last week you received a note from the school regarding our annual collection of donations for the Birchmount Bluffs Neighbourhood Centre. I want to thank our House Captains of Balmy, Kew, & Woodbine for writing their first public communication. Well done student leaders! Any voluntary donations should be sent to your child’s classroom.

We will be collecting cold weather clothing donations for TDSB schools including: Winter Hats, Mittens or Gloves, Scarves, & Snow Pants. These are the items schools in need have requested and I personally deliver the items to the school(s). Items can be second hand.

Book Fair: We are looking forward to the Scholastic Book Fair, December 4th – 5th. School Council will be send a note with details.

In addition, we are looking for volunteers for Santa’s Breakfast on December 14th. This event is hosted by Grade 2 parents annually but we need everyone to help through food donations, decorating, and securing a Santa for photos (shhhhh, don’t tell the children!)
