Happy New Year. I wish all of our students and their families the best for this coming year and decade. It’s been wonderful to reconnect with everyone following the break.
Today was a very sad for many as we learned of the crash in Teharan and the loss of so many, including TDSB students and their families. My thoughts and heart go out to all those impacted. An unbelievable loss.
I have made updates to this blog in order to draw attention to important information regarding life at Courcelette PS. The home page highlights general school information and routines we should all follow. In addition, there is a link to School Council’s Facebook page to encourage communication. You will also notice the “Principal’s Pick” section where I plan to draw your attention to recommended and critical literature for children and adults as we work to ensure anti-bias education is a focus for our school.
I am working on the School Improvement Plan page. This will highlight our annual SIP and ask for your continued input and reflection on those goals. Valuing the voices of all stakeholders – students, staff and the community continues to be intrinsic to the measure of our success as a learning community. More to come!
