Friday, January 17th: PA Day (No school for students)
Wednesday, January 22nd: School Council Meeting
We continue to build on the community spirit fostered through our school’s House System: Balmy, Kew & Woodbine. This month’s character trait is “Teamwork” and our House Leaders: Jamie, Austin, Lucy, Zora, Izzy & Maya have introduced the HULA HOOP PASS challenge. See the video below illustrating how you might compete in this activity!
Classes have started practising from Kindergarten through Grade 8. Who will be able to to complete the pass in record time?
The Hula Hoop Pass
What’s all the hoopla?
We are also planning a dance to celebrate the hard work and achievement of all House Teams with a dance/games room day. The dance will take place February 7th and as the team with the most points, Woodbine House, will have the greatest amount of dance time. All classes will participate in the fun. Thank you for supporting our students as they’ve worked diligently to contribute to fundraising efforts, support their reading buddies and make a HUGE impact on our learning community!!!
Thank you everyone for your continued support,
